Buffer tanks are always installed in the heat pump water heater system because of its important role on helping energy saving and prolonging the lifespan of the heat pump machine.

What are the functions of buffer tank in the heat pump system ?

1) As a thermal insulation tank to reduce the frequent on/off of the heat pump machine;

2) Speed up the defrosting to avoid large fluctuation on water temperature;

3) Exhaust air in the heat pump water system to make sure the ware flow smooth;

4) The impurities in water is removed from the bottom of the buffer tank to avoid the blockage of water system.
